  • Charity Football match Sunday 15th May, update.  All the dads played fantastically and the cake donations were amazing!!!  We are extremely lucky to have such a very   supportive village, thank you to everyone who came and took part and the PTA for all their hard work.  Margo Champion, the PTA Chair, has booked us in already for next year!!! Huge thanks go to Wakering Rovers and Colts for letting us use their facilities and for showing us a very warm welcome. Final score 6 - 4 to them but I believe a brilliant time was had by all and you helped raise a fantastic £737 towards school funds!

  • Did you know that we have a 'Health and Family Issues' tab under the 'For Parents' heading that is full of information on up and coming courses, special education needs issues, health related booklets and much more.  
  • The Year 6 1940's fund raising evening was a brilliant success raising over £400!  Thank you to everyone who supported the evening and to all the children, Teachers, LSA's and their helpers who worked so tirelessly to make the evening so memorable!
  • Have a look in the Gallery for pictures from Colchester Castle, Layer Marney Towers, the Year 6 Careers Fair and Science Day!  As well as a very suspicious armed Highwayman that visited Year 5!

  • 2014/2015 SATs result figures, after some appeals, are now available to view via the School Documents SATs tab, see how we compare against National figures.
  • If you are entitled to Child Care Funding, you may be entitled to claim money for Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Club, please see the Government website, our school Ofsted no. is 114792:
  • Information on our After School Club: it costs £3 per hour or £5 for two, starting at the end of the school day until 5.10pm.   Pick up times are 4.10 pm and 5.10 pm, please be aware that if you are late picking up your child you may be charged. There is a copy of the booking form and more details in the Clubs tab under Our School.   Please remember that you must pay for this two weeks in advance or your child will not be guaranteed a place, please see the school office.
  • We have had some enquiries from Parents about Xbox use at home, just to clarify one or two points, in the terms of use for one of these consoles it states:  "You acknowledge that some features of the Services, and some content available through the Services, may contain or expose users to material unsuitable for minors. You agree to supervise usage by minors whom you permit or enable to use the Services.
